Incident Management “Support Team” Training

Ensuring that you have the assistance of an experienced and competent support team is key to successfully responding to a crisis. 

Administration and support staff play a crucial supporting role in the incident room ensuring that it runs efficiently and providing adequate support to the Incident Management Team, enabling them to respond to and manage the incident effectively. Incident management support teams are involved in several tasks, including the initial set up of the room, catering, logging of all information and decisions taken, managing information and facilitating effective communication.

The course included theory, case studies and practical tasks to develop the confidence and skills of responders to undertake this role.
