 PlanB Consulting will develop a Crisis Plan which will focus on the response to any incident impacting your organisation and will contain guidance and information to allow the Crisis Management Team to respond to any disruptive event. This will include guidance on immediate actions, invoking the plan, incident management and the required communications. We have helped organisations develop Crisis Management Plans either as part of a Strategic Plan or as a stand-alone document. All plans created by PlanB Consulting can be formatted to your organisation’s templates and branding. 

CASE STUDY

Crisis Management Plans

A national charity engaged PlanB Consulting to provide Crisis Management and Business Continuity consultancy and training to their Business Continuity Leadership team and senior management. A revised Crisis Management Plan was produced by PlanB, using the existing documentation. Following this, a tailored course was developed which was then delivered across the organisation, to directors and senior management. In addition, a tabletop BC exercise was conducted with Senior Leadership, which included simulated media injects and time jumps.  

PlanB Consulting was re-engaged to support the charity to revise and further develop its BCMS to align with the GPG 2018. This involved conducting a series of BIA interviews with senior departmental personnel, developing a BIA document, conducting a series of workshops to build the content of response plans, training of response teams and exercising plans and response personnel.
