Stuart Lonie, a former Crew Commander with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, has over a decade of operational experience. Holding a BA (Hons) in Risk Management from Glasgow Caledonian University and certifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Stuart has demonstrated his expertise in multiple roles across local authority and emergency services in both support and frontline roles.

Throughout his career, Stuart has led the design, development, and delivery of multi-agency command and control workshops, and emergency response exercises. His experience includes producing Standard Operating Procedures for major events, Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) sites, nuclear facilities, and other high-risk sites.

Stuart brings knowledge and experience in policy, procedures, and practical frontline operations, combining these elements to offer a well-rounded skill set.

  • BA (Hons) Risk Management
  • National Education Board of Occupational Safety and Health Level 3
  • 11 years frontline firefighting experience
