Initially, your mentor will carry out a full learning assessment to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses in your Business Continuity knowledge and develop a programme of learning tailored to your requirements. Through a structured programme of learning and “one-to-one” sessions, you will accelerate your progression through the Business Continuity Institute membership levels, from Associate Member upwards. Mentoring is especially effective in helping newcomers to Business Continuity who have been given responsibility for implementing or maintaining Business Continuity capabilities within their organisation.
The mentoring programme will allow you to develop skills in industry specific situations involving Business Continuity and Crisis Management, drawing upon the expertise and experience of our consultants. Your mentor will assist with the development of your Business Continuity materials and templates. This cost-effective solution will ensure high-quality results whilst developing in-house capabilities to allow BC to be managed using internal resources.

National Utilities Company
For over ten years, PlanB Consulting has managed all the Business Continuity activities for the UK’s leading alternative emergency water supplier. This has involved running and overseeing regular exercises, ensuring appropriate training is received, and scheduling and hosting quarterly management reviews of the Business Continuity Management System. Additionally, PlanB mentored and assisted this company to achieve ISO 22301 certification to satisfy a contractual requirement of its client. This process was completed in only four months. PlanB continues to support the annual BC programme and supported the organisation to achieve recertification.
